I confirm what Tiramisu says, there is a net at the first floor (lower floor).

But the net does not cover all the middle of Eiffel Tower, just the first 3 meters in the middle and outside the Eiffel Tower.

So Jackie Chan did not add another net, but the net is in place and has not been removed.

At the other floors, there are fences.

I think there is a net to avoid people to jump and suicide.

And my blog speaks also of the Eiffel Tower…but I don’t have pictures of the net, and I don’t think you can see it on the webcam….when I can, I will go check
