I’m am going on vacation to Paris at the end of April, and I am trying to get a list together of some attractions that I do not want to miss while there. I am interested in daytime acivities as well as nightlife. I also was interested in any ‘free’ sightseeing or attractions that may be of interest, as I’m sure I’ll be spending lots of money throughout the duration of my trip.

I’m gonna answer your question again haha-
I’m going from 4/17-4/27 and hey if we get bored we should meet up! My mom has been there and she said there are maps that show all the famous chateaux and touristy destinations. You can probably order or print for free similar things like that online somewhere..

Much of it depends on how much time you have, but most tourists on a tight time schedule tend to do the main attractions.
- Eiffel Tower, Sacre Coeur, Louvre (this will take all day), D’Orsay museum (hold many famous impressionist paintings on the upper floor), Place de la Concorde, Champs-Élysées, Arc de Triomphe…
The Latin quarter is very interesting and lively at night, with much to do. Some folk also like to do Disneyland too, although that is about an hour’s train journey outside of the centre.

You must go to Sacre Coeur on a sunday! It’s free to go in the bascilica but there’s a small charge to go in the dome. Absolutely amazing views, it’s the highest point in Paris, it’s fantastic to sit on the steps in front and look over the city. Sunday is definitely the best day to go – we went in the bascilica and there was a service on, with nuns and monks, it brings tears to your eyes (and I’m not religious in the slightest) – it’s overwhelming. Have fun in Paris, my boyfriend and I had the best time of our lives when we went a month ago.
