Europeâ??s Hottest Destinations

The airplane carefully landed on the runway smooth as any flight I’d taken. Grabbing my pack from the above storage bin, I made a mental note to compliment the captain on his flying. Europe was a monumental vacation for me. I had no desire to see it all at the same time fearing I wouldn’t get to understand it the best way. I wanted to savor what I saw, take my time with it and let it become part of who I was. I was eventually here and nothing could keep me from all the remarkable places to see in Paris. You have to be in Paris to understand the Eiffel Tower.

After a solid week in the town exploring the Louvre and enjoying many an afternoon on the banks of the Seine, I headed out for the remainder of my trip. The countryside called my name and put it on my list of places to see in France. I holed up in quaint little villages full of window boxes of flowers, vintage style shopping and luscious bakeries. I saw France’s many castles and explored every one I could get my hands on. I rode my red hired bike thru local farmers’ fields, as if I belonged to France myself. I took lengthy walks each day and met many villagers who welcomed me in as a mate. After a bit in the country, I made bound to visit the French Riviera. Sure, it wasn’t actually my style, full of high-rollers and film stars. However, it was one of the places to see in France that was on my list. In the final analysis, the French Riviera was absolutely one of my favourite places to see in France.

Last but not least, it was vital for me to explore the Italian Culture. There were such a lot of places to see in Italy, how could I narrow it to simply a few? In the final analysis, I selected town vs city. Sure, I set aside a lot of time to see the Coliseum and Rome’s other treasures, but the majority of my time I chose to go to the sea hamlets. Scattered with fisherman cropping the produce of the ocean, sweet tiny villa’s climbing the mountainside and the best view known to occupy the Amalfi Coast offered all I could ask for as a traveller. I spent my evenings in actually authentic Italian eateries indulging in the amazing array of fish caught only hours before. I discovered how cheesecake is meant to taste, and ate at one of the oldest pizzerias in the planet. Though my legs suffered due to the hours of step climbing, I knew I had witnessed one of the most charming places to see in Italy, maybe even the entire world. I planned to do stuff no different for my next European experience. Europe deserves to be taken in slowly. There’s too much history, culture, and scenery to rush even one day in the most beautiful continent on earth.

I thirst for adventure and I love trying new things. Writing about my experiences just adds to the adventure.
